Evergreen is a 55+ group that started (as of this writing in 2026) about 4 years ago. We are developing and growing. Typically, we meet the last Wednesday of the month at noon.
A few of the past activities have been themed carry-ins, speakers, a trip to a winery, Christmas matinee at a local playhouse, cookout at the shelter, pasta making, trivia, BINGO, and eating out at a local restaurant.
In addition, we have done outreach activities such as collecting and wrapping tissue boxes for a part of the Meals on Wheels Christmas giving, making blankets for our homebound members, and having a bake sale for the 2027 Youth Gathering.
